The fifth generation BMW 7-Series takes the FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) technology one notch higher with the world's first Pedestrian Recognition system. The second generation HUD system scans the road upto 300 metres and notifies the driver of any pedestrians by a combination of algorithms which identify human body shapes like torso, head, arms and moving limbs.Just humans eh? not cows?
